What Luma can do in everyday life
Separate access
Luma Life offers separate areas for people living with dementia and for family members. The view for people living with dementia is designed to be especially simple, with large buttons, clear type and a calm design, so that use stays easy and stress-free. Family members have their own access, through which they stay informed, store appointments or reminders and share personal notes with Luma.
Getting-to-know conversation
After simple registration, Luma starts with a short getting-to-know conversation. It takes place entirely by voice and helps Luma understand the person better, for example their preferences, hobbies or daily rhythm. Family members can join the conversation or add to it through their own access by also talking to Luma.
Luma remembers everything
Luma remembers earlier conversations and the getting-to-know conversation. This creates familiar, empathetic and engaging conversations. Luma remembers important information and is a reliable memory aid in everyday life. People living with dementia can ask Luma anything, for example: “What did my doctor say at the last visit?”, “How does the coffee machine work?” or “What are my grandchildren called?”.
Daily structure
With Luma, people living with dementia can organize their day independently. Through simple conversations about routines and appointments, Luma helps provide structure and orientation. She suggests suitable ideas for the day and notices when the day is getting too full. For important appointments or reminders, Luma can also call to make sure nothing is forgotten.
Login for family members
Family members can tell Luma about the preferences and interests of their loved ones, so that Luma picks them up in conversations and becomes an even better companion. Through their access, family members can set routines, appointments and regular reminders, either by voice or directly in the calendar. This keeps them informed and lets them actively help shape everyday life.
Staying in touch
With Luma, family members always stay connected and are informed directly in an urgent situation. At the same time, Luma helps people living with dementia stay in touch with their loved ones easily. Whether support or a conversation is wanted, family members can be notified or called directly without hassle. This way Luma creates security and structure in everyday life and gives family members the good feeling of being reachable at any time.
